Music

Rønde Højskole has a well-equipped music classroom. For use in classes – and also in your spare time, if you take a short course in how to use the equipment. We also offer different music classes such as band class, guitar for beginners and choir.

In band class we will rehearse pop and rock songs. You will be challenged based on your musical skills and you will get the opportunity to try out your abilities on various instruments as well as singing. The most important thing in class is that we make the music groove together. It is not a prerequisite that you are able to play an instrument – but if you don’t, you must also choose the class “guitar for beginners” or “drum/bass theory”.

Guitar for beginners is the class for you if you would like to learn the basics of the guitar. We will focus on studying chords, so that you will be able to play a song before you finish your stay at the school. The class is 45 minutes per week, but practise is required for you to achieve your goal. You can lend a guitar from the school.

In choir class, we will sing rock and pop music. Have you ever felt the little hairs in the back of your neck rise when you are singing? Try it with the choir. You do not need to be able to read music to join.
