International Class

The International Class is the core subject for international students at Rønde Højskole. It is designed to help you immerse yourself in the Danish language and culture while experiencing the unique environment of a Danish folk high school. Whether you already have some knowledge of Danish or are starting from scratch, our experienced teachers will tailor the lessons to match your skill level.

Course Structure

During our long-term courses in Spring and Autumn, some classes are taught in English. You can design your own schedule, but there are also compulsory subjects you must attend. This flexibility allows you to combine essential Danish language and cultural lessons with other subjects offered by the school.

Danish Language and Cultural Lessons – Your Main Subject
