Glass

Create beautiful things using recycled materials and your creativity

Glass is a fascinating material that holds endless possibilities. Imagine how old greenhouse glass can be recycled to create unique, beautiful creations! In Glass, we work with the 4000-year-old technique of cold glass, where we shape and decorate the glass before heating it in the furnace. You don’t need any experience to join – after the first hour, you’ll already have a feel for the material and its potential.

We start by working with recycled glass from greenhouses, where you learn how to cut, trim and shape it. Later you will have the opportunity to work with colored “Bullseye glass” and experiment with new expressions.
The process is simple and exciting:

  • Decorate with glass powder, bits, paint or metal wires.
  • Let the magical moment happen when your creation comes out of the glass furnace!
  • Joint assignment and individual projects

We start with a joint assignment that introduces you to the technique. Then you can unleash your creativity in your own projects and make everything from dishes and bowls to jewelry and figurines. You can experiment with colors, patterns and materials to create something completely personal.

Glass is not only a creative experience – it is also a fun community activity. You can find inspiration in the room or be inspired by your school friends. There is nothing better than sharing ideas and enjoying each other’s results while you create together.

Turn old materials into new works of art, explore your creativity, and become part of an inspiring community in Glass.
